Coastal Shipping Limited provides marine transport services to eastern Canada including the Labrador Coastal communities as well as providing a challenging service to the Arctic. In 2016 the business expanded to include global markets. The company presently operates a fleet of 4 tankers.

LMI upgraded the fleet in 2019 with the addition of the Qajaq W servicing the Strait of Belle Isle and the Kamutik W serving the vital supply route to Labrador Coastal communities for freight and passengers. These vessels are new, state of the art ships with modern amenities and technically advanced propulsion and navigation systems.
