Anti-Bribery Policy
Bribery is the offering, promising, giving, accepting or soliciting of an advantage as a reward for action which is illegal or a breach of trust. This includes accepting anything of material value to gain a commercial, contractual, regulatory or personal advantage.
It is our code to conduct all of our business in an honest and ethical manner. We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships wherever we operate and implementing and enforcing effective systems to counter bribery.
We will uphold all laws relevant to countering bribery and corruption in all the jurisdictions in which we operate. However, we remain bound by Canadian laws, including the Canadian Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act 1998, in respect of our conduct.
Bribery and corruption are punishable by up to fourteen years imprisonment. If we are found to have taken part in corruption, we could face fines, be excluded from tendering for contracts and face damage to our reputation. We therefore take our legal responsibilities very seriously.

A safe work environment can only be created with the cooperation of workers and all levels of management. Thus, all workers must be equally committed to loss control and injury prevention. Workers must use the safety devices/clothes/equipment provided and follow safe work practices/procedures. They must also report, in a timely manner, any unsafe acts or conditions that arise. The same applies to contractors and sub-contractors who must abide by legislative requirements and our safe work practices/procedures.
To maintain a safe and healthy environment, the Woodward Group will ensure there is constant consultation between management and workers on health and safety related issues. This will be achieved through meetings with our committees or representatives and acting/following up on safety issues which may arise. We will also monitor the application of safe work practices/procedures.
Modern Slavery & Human Rights Policy Statement
At the Woodward Group of Companies, we are committed to conducting our business ethically, responsibly, and in compliance with Canadian law and international standards. We recognize the responsibility we share in helping to prevent and eliminate the risks of forced labour and child labour within our operations and supply chains.
We strictly prohibit the use of forced or child labour in any part of our operations or supply chains and expect the same commitment from our suppliers, contractors, and business partners. To uphold this standard, we require suppliers to provide written certification that their operations and supply chains are free of forced and child labour. Where risks are identified, we take proactive steps to address them, and should any instance of forced or child labour be found, we will act immediately to ensure appropriate remedial measures are taken.
To reduce risks, we regularly review our supply chain and work closely with established and reputable suppliers. We maintain ongoing dialogue with suppliers to promote ethical business practices, and we continuously strengthen our policies, training, and due diligence processes to safeguard human rights across all of our business divisions.
As required by Canada’s Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act, we file an annual public report outlining the measures we have taken to identify and mitigate risks of forced and child labour.
